As of this writing (January 25th), most Grinnell Mayflower Community residents and staff who want a COVID-19 vaccination are in the process of getting it. All but a couple of Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living residents who have doctors’ excuses and all disposed staff have received their first dose. The second dose for this group is planned for February 4th.
Mayflower announced last Thursday that Mayflower’s 208 independent living residents are now eligible for their first vaccine dose on February 5th. The second dose is scheduled for February 26th. Residents are in the process of completing information and consent forms for administration of the Pfizer vaccine by CVS Pharmacies.
