On Friday, August 20th, six members of the Farnum Family, an instrumental and vocal group from Galena, Missouri, played for two gatherings in The Mayflower Community. The first performance was in the Beebe Circle for Beebe Assisted Living and independent living residents. Then, they moved to the Health Center Courtyard to play for residents there.

Bill Lawyer is an acoustical guitarist from Marshalltown. On Tuesday, July 6th, Bill played outdoors for Mayflower residents in the Beebe Circle and in the Health Center Courtyard. On Thursday, July 31st the Farnum Family band treated over 70 Mayflower Community (Grinnell IA) residents and guests to an hour of bluegrass, gospel, folk, Irish, and Western music. On their way to the county fair in Albert Lee, Minnesota, the parents and four kids stopped to entertain because a family member lives in Mayflower’s
