Bill Lawyer is an acoustical guitarist from Marshalltown. On Tuesday, July 6th, Bill played outdoors for Mayflower residents in the Beebe Circle and in the Health Center Courtyard. He had played Mayflower previously with a vocal partner, Joan Grufe, who has since retired. Bill describes himself a “finger-style flat-picking guitarist.” Playing since he was 15 years old, Bill performed a variety of music with special interest in Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams, and Kenny Rogers.
