Four volunteers have been driving the Mayflower Lester the Bus (14-passenger shuttle van) between the Mayflower campus and other destinations. The drivers are Sig Barber, Greg Buntz, Lyle Roudabush, and Kevin Stutz.
The primary “group” destinations include the Community Education Council Wednesday morning “Bucket Courses,” the Wednesday afternoon “store runs” (McNallys, Fareway, Walmart, and Hy-Vee), and the weekday evening and weekend afternoon Grinnell College basketball games.
From time to time, other Lester the Bus rides are available to special events in the Grinnell area. There is no fee for Mayflower riders to these events.
