On Wednesday, May 19th, The Mayflower Community (Grinnell IA) hosted a Zoom meeting to celebrate another year of philanthropy for the 70-year strong senior living and healthcare community.
Speakers included Don Schild, J.D., President of the Mayflower Homes, Inc. Board of Trustees and local attorney; Emily Moore, PhD, President of the Mayflower Homes Foundation Board of Directors and Grinnell College Professor Emeritus in Mathematics; and Steve Langerud, Executive Director of The Mayflower Community.
Hosted by Mayflower’s planned giving consultant, Doug Lockin, the event featured a number of projects that have enhanced Mayflower as the result of donations. In addition, Mayflower’s successful response to the pandemic was celebrated.
