On Wednesday, October 7th, The Mayflower Community celebrated its annual health inspection survey results for the Health Center. The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) found no deficiencies in any of Mayflower’s healthcare, food service, or facilities operations….ZERO. 0!
To enjoy the results and thank our employees, Mayflower invited the “Dairy Barn on the Moove” mobile ice cream shop to come park on campus and dispense treats. For Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living residents and Mayflower staff, the snacks were free. For independent living residents, there was a small charge.
The timing for Mayflower was fortunate, as the Dairy Barn, located at 1810 – 6th Avenue in Grinnell, will be closing for the season at the end of the day Sunday, October 25th. — Bob Mann, Sales & Marketing Director
