Veteran's Day Commencement

Veterans’ Day Commemoration at Mayflower

On Monday, November 13th, the Community Life Department of Grinnell’s Mayflower Community commemorated Veterans’ Day with a program honoring veterans. Resident Don Schild, a Viet Nam War veteran, delivered the keynote address. Dot Anderson provided the piano accompaniment. Dot played a medley of military hymns. Flowers were presented, hymns were sung, and a reception followed.
