The plush Kiesel Theatre in The Mayflower Community (Grinnell IA) seats 55 comfortably in reclining theatre seats harvested from the local Strand Theatre during its remodeling. Mayflower Continues Community Interaction, With Help of Grinnell College Volunteers.

On August 17, 2018, an energetic group of Grinnell College Residence Life Coordinators in training for the 2018-19 school year came to the Mayflower campus for volunteer work. Keeping Residents On The Go

Generous friends of Mayflower Community have provided gifts of nearly $130,000 to purchase two vehicles that literally keep Mayflower residents on the go. The gifts by anonymous donors allowed Mayflower to purchase “Lester,” a 15-passenger bus, and “Daisy,” a conversion van that accommodates two wheelchairs.
