A donation has been given for the planting of a tree to honor Mayflower resident Bob Williams and his late wife Jan. Planted at the southeast corner of 1st and Broad streets, near the Edwards apartment building, the tree is a red sunset maple that will grow to be about 40-feet tall.
A permanent plaque to be placed at the site will read, “In Honor of Bob and Jan Williams. Peace. 2020.”
