The Mayflower Community’s residents will use about any excuse for a party. The evening of the 4th of July was hot and humid. So, they waited for the sun to drop and for the weather to cool AND broke out the ice cream. The Buckley Courtyard is an ideal setting for these kinds of gatherings—shaded, lush garden and access to inside or outside seating. Sponsored by the Mayflower Residents Association and hosted by Don and Jeananne Schild, the event drew over 70 residents who enjoyed ice cream, lemonade, and ice tea.
