On Tuesday, November 13, The Mayflower Community hosted the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. They toured newly-remodeled spaces: The Pearson business offices and conference room, the Caulkins Crossing, the Dawson Guest Room, the Pearson/Buckley tunnel, and the apartment home of Alicemary Borthwick. On the way, they spent time in the resident-operated Mini-Gift Shop and the warm and beautiful Buckley Dining Room, hearing Director of Food Services, Scott Gruhn, describe plans for all new “Open Dining.”
The Mini-Gift Shop, located in the lower-level of the Pearson building will be hosting a Christmas Open House on Thursday, December 6th, 9:30am-4:00pm. Refreshments, music, decorations, ornaments, and greeting cards.
