The Community Life staff in Grinnell’s Mayflower Community assisted residents of the Health Center in decorating masks for the Tuesday Mardi Gras activities. Leslie Jaworski, Director, and Tracy Woolfolk and Cecelia Bagnoli, Coordinators, provided materials and guidance.
Mayflower’s Foodservices staff baked a King’s Cake, and Dennis Perry entertained in the Carman Center.
To punctuate the enjoyment, Alice Breemer, living in Beebe Assisted Living, shared a bouquet of flowers she received from her daughter. This was a continuation of a tradition her daughter has established to give Alice flowers on the daughter’s birthday, a celebration of that day for both women.
