Lisa Case is a knitter. This Mayflower Community resident won nine (9) blue ribbons at the 2021 Iowa State Fair. So, naturally, Lisa is a member of the long-standing (or sitting and talking) Sit ‘n Knit group that often meets at Mayflower. A recent session of the group was followed by Mayflower’s monthly Wine and Cheese event. Lisa brought some of her State Fair projects to share with the Sit ‘n Knitters and the early arrivals for Wine Cheese.
We are assuming that is what drew the big crowd that completely filled the Buckley Dining Room. It seems life is trending into post-pandemic times.
