Johnny Khuu, The Mayflower Community’s Resident Intern, will end this engagement on Friday, June 28th. A desert reception will be held for him in the Buckley Dining Room from 12:50 to 1:30pm.
Johnny moved into a Mayflower apartment and began volunteer work with a local not-for-profit organization and The Mayflower Community in May of 2018. While at Mayflower, Johnny coordinated a number of independent living resident events and served as driver of “Lester the Bus” for excursions.
In order to immerse himself in the senior living world, Johnny lived in an independent living apartment among other Mayflower residents.
Johnny, a college political science major, is about to realize a dream of working on the campaign of one of the 2020 U.S. President candidates. Which one? Come to the reception and ask him!
