Grinnell College Student Leads Artwork with Mayflower Residents

In two recent sessions, volunteering in The Mayflower Community with Health Center residents, Grinnell College student, Gracie Song, led artwork in Zentangle and cut-and-paste.

Zentangle is a miniature abstract work of art created by a collection of patterns. There are no rules for Zentangle. There are steps to guide you as Gracie demonstrated, but at the end of the day the Zentangle Method is all about putting pen to paper and creating art. If you are doing that and having fun, then the rest does not matter.

Gracie brought this feeling of experimentation and enjoyment to Mayflower.
