Residents of The Mayflower Community persist in seeking ways to socialize while staying safe during the pandemic. In this accompanying photo, a gathering of independent living residents is shown in the Jewel Garden next to the Mayflower Watertower Square building in late September.
Lyle Roudabush made two batches of yummy homemade ice cream…vanilla and chocolate. Wife Carolyn and Lyle prepared servings mixed in individual cups. Over 30 residents participated.
The fun part of this new reality is that we are getting better at recognizing masked people, some by their eyes and hair and some by their masks!
