Mayflower Community resident, Coleen McGriff, celebrated her 102nd birthday last Sunday. With the assistance of our Beebe assisted living staff, Coleen “gussied up” for the event that included dinner with family and birthday snacks. Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Sharla O’Halloran, helped Coleen shop for a new outfit.
After lunch in the Buckley Dining Room, the McGriff family gathered for angel food cake, strawberries, ice cream, nuts, cookies, and punch provided by Mayflower Food Service staff in the Beebe activities room.
A native of New Sharon, Coleen moved to Mayflower assisted living over a year ago. Given that Coleen is not the oldest Mayflower resident, it is obvious that Mayflower takes care of all of its residents. (Harold Tindall is 104!)
