Chapel Services are Back at Mayflower

After a year-and-a-half hiatus, due to the pandemic, The Mayflower Community independent living residents are now conducting ecumenical worship services. Because the previous site of Chapel services, the Carman Center, is now being used exclusively for Health Center activities, the multi-purpose Kiesel Theatre in the Pearson building has been retrofitted as the Mayflower chapel.

Linda Myren, retired pastor and Mayflower resident, led the first new round of services on September 14th. Future worship leaders, all Mayflower residents, will be:

  • September 21st – Pasha Buck
  • September 28th – Marilyn Schuler
  • October 5th – Karen Phillips
  • October 12th – Bob Anderson
  • October 19th – Tommy Haas
  • October 26th – Jack Mutti

Meanwhile, weekly worship services are being conducted for Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living residents, in the Carman Center and the Beebe lounge, respectively.
