Recently, blankets were given to residents of The Mayflower Community’s Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living. Most were made by the “Quilt Ladies” at the Ripley United Church of Christ in Traer, Iowa. Others were made by local groups and individuals.
The Traer Quilt Ladies have been making and donating blankets and quilts to Mayflower for almost 10 years. The blankets bring much natural warmth. As their note stated, “They were made with love.”
