In the recent days, Grinnell’s Mayflower Community has hosted a Grinnell College volunteer leading an art project and numerous musicians….including some with dogs.
Gracie Strong is a student at Grinnell College who comes periodically to the Mayflower campus to guide residents in original art projects.
Recent musical performers included David Gray and his therapy dog Belle. Abe Goldstien played a little jazz accordion for a Thursday night Lyceum program. Jerry Beauchamp and Myrt Evans played dueling accordions. Valier Wedgeworth played flute accompanied by her therapy dog Zumi.
