a ministry of the Iowa Conference of the United Church of Christ,
Mayflower's mission is to provide a retirement community that
affirms the dignity and worth of each individual, responds to
ongoing and emerging resident needs and expectations, and seeks
to balance ministry and financial integrity.
Dignity
The
Mayflower environment assures dignity for you as a senior adult
resident. That quality of life is very much desired by each of
us, especially in our mature years.
Dignity is delivered through the life-use of your own private
apartment or patio home where you can live independently. Based
on our experience, we urge you to become a part of the Mayflower
community while you are self-reliant.

While living at Mayflower you have the deep satisfaction of knowing
that you are not dependent upon family or friends for your daily

But, as we get older, we may not always be able to maintain our
complete independence. Support services at Mayflower are carefully
designed to fill in those gaps as they arise. Our staff is trained
and ready to assist you when needed, whether in an emergency or

your apartment, lock the door and be gone for an hour, day, week

and when you need assistance in daily living, personal care or
long-term nursing care, these services are available to you, on
a "space available" basis at Mayflower, close to your
