BOB MANN
Executive Director
Bob is the Executive Director of Mayflower Homes, Inc. Prior to coming to the Mayflower Community in January, 2007, Mann served in the following capacities in Des Moines, Iowa and Boulder, Colorado: high school teacher and coach, commercial banker, Fortune 500 company division controller, director of human resources for a 15,000 employee company, executive director of a homeless shelter, and various capacities in retirement communities and church ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls in Business with a Marketing Emphasis and an Accounting Minor. Mann has pursued Masters work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Drake University, Des Moines. He has completed the course work for Nursing Home Administrator licensing. The Iowa Conference of the United Church of Christ has licensed Mann as a minister in that denomination. Mann raised his two children as a single, custodial parent and has two granddaughters. |

ED POUSH
Associate Director
Ed is the Associate Director/Administrator for the Mayflower Community. He has held this position since June of 1988. Holding a State of Iowa Nursing Home Administrator’s license, Ed is responsible for overseeing Mayflower’s licensed/certified levels of care. These include the 60 bed Health Center (including 16 beds designated for Memory Support residents), 15 apartments of Residential Care, and 9 apartments of Assisted Living care. As the Associate Director of the Mayflower Community, Ed works in day-to-day management with specific duties in personnel administration and customer service. Prior to coming to Mayflower, Ed worked for ten years as Personnel Director in a Muscatine, Iowa hospital. Ed has a BA is Psychology from Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana. He and his wife have four children and five grandchildren. |

JACK MORRISON
Director of Facilities Management
Jack is the Director of Physical Plant for the Mayflower Community. He has held this position for the last 22 years and has been a Mayflower staff member for the last 25 years. Included in his duties are the following specialties: construction trades and supervision, home design and CAD drawing, project supervision, and materials procurement. He supervises 13 regular full time facilities staff. Morrison previously worked as an assistant manager of a local furniture and floor-covering store where he specialized in floor covering sales and installation. In addition, he has worked as support staff in a local bank. Married, Jack is the father of three grown daughters and has five grandsons. |

SCOTT GRUHN
Director of Food Services
Scott has held this position since July of 2000. Previously, Scott served as Food Service Director beginning in 1989. After a seven-year hiatus in which he owned and operated a restaurant and worked in the entertainment industry, Scott returned to his current expanded role. He oversees 35 full and part-time staff that provides meals and snacks in four campus dining rooms, linen and personal laundry service for over 80 residents, and care and cleaning for the entire campus of five apartment, one assisted living, and one nursing buildings. In addition to daily operations, he and his staff provide catering services for Mayflower residents and events. Scott is a Culinary Arts program graduate of the Kirkwood Community College that included an internship at The Barn Restaurant in the Amana Colonies where he also worked full-time following graduation. Married, Scott is a Grinnell native. |

PAM VOSBURG, C.P.A.
Chief Financial Officer
Pam joined the staff of Mayflower in December of 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. She oversees the accounting and financial management for all Mayflower Community organizations. Prior to joining Mayflower, Pam practiced in public accounting, as sole practitioner and most recently as partner in Plate, Baker & Co., P.C. She has also held positions at Grinnell Newburg Schools as high school business teacher, Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company as systems analyst, and Grinnell College in student financial aid, as well as serving as Treasurer and controller of a family owned retail building materials corporation. She has a BS degree in Business Education from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri and has completed additional study at Iowa State University, Ames, IA. She obtained her CPA certificate to practice in Iowa in 1981. Pam and her husband, Bill, are the parents of four children, and grandparents of two. |

JENNY NEELEY, L.P.N./H.S.P.
Beebe Assisted Living Coordinator
Jenny has been the Beebe Assisted Living Coordinator since February, 2010. Since 2000, she has served the Mayflower Community as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a staff LPN, and most recently as an assistant to the previous Beebe Coordinator. Jenny is responsible for the supervision of the Beebe certified and licensed nursing staff members who care for residents in the 23 Assisted Living apartments. Working closely with residents and their families, she coordinates the required care we provide. Jenny serves as a liaison with each resident’s physician and other health care providers. After earning her Bachelors of Science degree/psychology major from Milligan College (Tennessee), Jenny received her nursing education at Marshalltown Community College (Iowa). Prior to coming to Mayflower, she worked in mental health care, home health care, and long-term care, for a total of 17 years. Jenny, her husband, and their four children live in Grinnell.

PAT CONN, R.N.
South Village Coordinator
A native of Grinnell, Pat received her nursing education at Iowa Methodist School of Nursing. Following graduation, she served as an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, stationed near Tokyo, Japan where she cared for soldiers injured in the Vietnam War. In 1972, Pat began work as a nurse in the Mayflower Community, and in 1988 was named Director of Nursing. Later, she left Mayflower to become a gerontology nurse at Iowa Methodist Hospital during which time she worked with one of Iowa’s leading gerontologists, Dr. Stan Haugland, in the IMMC’s Memory Loss Clinic. Pat’s career journey has brought her back to Mayflower a number of times…so she feels right at home here. Pat is in her second tour as Coordinator of the South Village—Mayflower’s memory support home in the Health Center. Pat considers care of older adults with memory problems her specialty. She is married, has two grown children and three granddaughters, and continues to live in Grinnell. |
